- Served for 24 years as a Pastor to churches with an average Sunday School of 12 to being a pastor in his last church with Sunday School attendance of 947 with 2400 members.
- Served as a Pastor to every kind of church: Rural, Sub-urban, City, Resort and the largest church in a County seat town.
- Has received numerous awards for the fastest growing Sunday School.
- In his last 11 years as a Pastor averaged 100 baptisms per year.
- Has been in the top 100 churches of the Southern Baptist Convention in baptisms twice.
- Has been in the top 25 churches of the Southern Baptist Convention in youth baptisms twice.
- Out of 17 years as a Pastor in Tennessee in the top fifty 12 times, top ten 4 times. Out of 6 years as a Pastor in Illinois baptized in the top ten 4 times, top three twice in total baptisms.
- In his last year as a pastor there were 175 additions to the church.
- In one Church Revival had over 200 saved in one service with over 300 saved during the week.
- On one Sunday morning 56 saved in his own church after preaching and giving the invitation. On the Tenth Anniversary Revival in Maryville, TN, had 87 saved with 77 of those baptized.
- In one Service had over 373 saved with 1,106 saved in five services.
- Has preached over 800 church revivals and crusades in 45 states and 6 crusades in 5 foreign countries.
- Has preached on the Tennessee Baptist Pastor’s Convention program; Area-wide crusades; state evangelism conferences, Tennessee Baptist Convention Pastor’s Retreat, Associational Evangelism Conferences and Annual Meetings, Chapel programs in colleges and seminaries, Marriage retreats, youth retreats, single adult retreats, banquets and rallies.
- Has preached on television for five years.
- Served as Chairman of the Presidential Search Committee of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
- Served two terms as a Trustee of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Served three years as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
- Served as President of the Tennessee Baptist Convention’s Pastor’s Conference.
- Founded Morris Anderson Outdoors with thousands coming to Christ at Wild Game Dinners, Sportsman's Banquets and other Evangelistic Events.
